We built an open database access (ODA) interface to use an Eclipse based tool called Business Intelligence Reporting Tool (BIRT) for Universe and Unidata databases.
BIRT is used by over 2.5 million programmers world wide for creating reports. BIRT is an embedded reporting software and end user reporting tools create collaborative and personalized user experiences for developers designing dynamic reports and business users running ad hoc reports. BIRT allows you to run reports, for example, in formats like PDF, DOCX, HTML, and XLSX.
XLr8Reporter ODA's interface within Eclipse IDE that allows you to test your UniQuery's or UniBasic subroutines. After debugging those routines, you can deploy the BIRT report forms to the web using our U2WebLink middle-ware.
